I enjoyed being dragged into a new world and having that bit of romance on top of it. I am thrilled I got the opportunity to read this book and all it had to give.
Mallory is a talented magi who has her hands full trying to figure out where she is meant to be in this life. After her hometown is destroyed by haters, she is forced to live on her own for 6 years before prophecy tells her otherwise. She meets a group of people who ask something of her that could risk her live. She spends weeks constantly risking her life for people who she doesn’t hardly know. This world the author created is one that I would gladly divulge in any day. It is heartfelt and different, and a great place to disappear to for a couple hours.
