I think I am in love. I absolutely love this book. Like CAN NOT wait for book 2. This was just the kind of book I needed when I was not really feeling up to reading anymore. Nikki Ash and K. Webster did such a great job on this book. I don’t even have the right words to describe it. I loved the suspense and darkness to it. I loved the detail and depth into every little think. I loved how it was an arranged marriage type thing. This book is just everything to me right now!! I was in tears when I finished this book and realized I have to wait for book 2.
Talia is traded over to save her father’s life. Like he willingly gave her up so he could live. Yes. What kind of father does that? Well, her’s did. She is forced to marry Kostas, who is supposedly one of the worst kinds of people out there. She attempts to run away, but Kostas threatens her life is she attempts again.
Kostas is the stone cold man on the outside who is trying to be just like his father. Until he realizes his father isn’t everything he has made him out to be. Kostas slowly grows on Talia, and Talia grows on Kostas. They fight all the time, but they make up in the best way possible. I don’t agree with all of his methods, but I will say he is a better person now than he ever was before.
